Valuation Disputes by Level
Think your insurance company undervalued your totaled vehicle?

How the appraisal process works
Here is what to expect on your claim. The only step that needs you is authorizing the appraisal.
- 01
An appraiser is assigned to your claim
A licensed independent appraiser is assigned to represent your vehicle’s value. Your portal shows who it is.
- 02
You authorize the appraisal
Open your portal link and sign the authorization forms so your appraiser can act on your behalf.
- 03
The appraisers work toward a new value
Your appraiser works with the insurance company to settle on a new value for your vehicle.
Finding your portal link
Look for an email about your total-loss claim containing a secure portal link. The link is unique to your claim, so it is the only way to open your appraisal — this page cannot look up a claim by VIN or claim number.
Links expire after a set period for your security. If yours has expired or you cannot find the email, contact us below and we can send a new one. Your lender arranged this appraisal, so there is no cost to you.
